Mike and Marilyn Glass

Mike and Marilyn Glass were both born and raised in Wichita.

Mike is a 1961 graduate of Wichita State University with a Masters in Management from Northwestern University. His career began in banking. After he and Marilyn moved to Arlington Heights in 1976, Mike began working in marketing and adult education. They joined ICL in 2008 after retiring.

In 2010, they launched their first study group, “American Presidents”. They started, “Game Changers” in 2015, now entering its 15th session. In 2020, they conducted their first study group via Zoom.

Marilyn and Mike enjoy foreign travel, but plan to explore the U.S. by roadster and airplane. ICL is an integral part of their lives.

Marilyn is a 1961 graduate of Kansas State University. Before her marriage in 1965, Marilyn had positions working in the oil exploration industry and as a legal secretary.

After raising their three children (all of whom still live in the area), Marilyn rejoined the work force. Marilyn first worked in commercial real estate, then later as an executive assistant. Marilyn spent thirteen years as Executive Assistant to the General Sales Manager for Komori America. Komori is based in Tokyo and makes high-end printing presses.

Mike and I have been ICL members since 2008 and study group leaders for ten years. We hope to continue traveling, primarily in the United States.
