ICL is Looking for Volunteers
Do a little or…a Lot!
Many exciting events and activities are planned as ICL Members return to campus and our social opportunities expand. As our community continues to evolve, we invite our members to share their unique skills and talents to strengthen ICL as we move forward. We need your help with various events and activities.

- These are the areas where your assistance would be greatly appreciated; details of the functions of the committees can be found under DISCOVER ICL on the Home page. Volunteer to serve on or support the standing committees.

- ICL BOARD – Positions open yearly, notices usually are announced in April.
- PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT – Develop a study group by yourself or with friends or volunteer to serve on the committee. Help with tech training.
- EVENTS – Post COVID, we will be planning and offering field trips to plays, concerts, etc. along with social events.
- LECTURE SERIES – Plans and implements ICL’s annual Winter Lecture Series, which is presented from mid-January to mid-March, and possible additional dates.
- DEVELOPMENT – Initiates contacts with community organizations to publicize ICL and seeks means to raise funds from external sources.
- MEMBERSHIP – Help with orientation and onboarding to make new members feel welcome.
- TECHNOLOGY – Do you know about website and other technical issues to improve ICL’s online exposure?
- SOCIAL MEDIA – Support ICL and create community awareness using social media platforms.
- ICL READS – Marketing support and book distribution are needed annually.
- HELP OUT AS NEEDED – Be available to help out with short term commitments.
You don’t have to make a large commitment to volunteer in one or more of these areas. ICL can be so much more with MORE volunteers. Join our growing list of volunteers. If you have any questions or wish to volunteer, please use the link below to send a message today.
