Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is approaching quickly. We hope that you have thought about a donation to ICL. One different way of donating is to donate from your IRA through a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) directly to the charity. This donation can help you avoid higher tax brackets and satisfy all or part of your required minimum distribution (RMD). Talk to a tax advisor for more information.
If you wish to make a donation by cash, check or credit card, members will be receiving a form to make your donation in the near future. Donations can be made before Giving Tuesday on December 3, or for the two weeks after. We will track the donations with our thermometer that will be sent out to our members. Remember your donation will help us to continue to offer the variety of study groups and other activities that make us such an active organization.

Gallipoli: The Fateful Campaign that Shaped Nations (On Campus and Zoom)
TBD and Zoom ClassThe Gallipoli campaign is considered a major defeat for the Allies, but is seen as a defining moment in the national consciousness of Australia and New Zealand. It also solidified Mustafa Kemal Atatu?rk's reputation as a military leader, later leading to his role in founding modern Turkey. The class will explore this pivotal battle and include pictures from my visit to the battlefield last Spring.
