Join us if you would like to meet other ICL members who play and want to have more opportunities to play the game. We welcome those who have recently learned the game as well as intermediate and advanced players. We will be playing for FUN, not cutthroat! Hopefully we can all learn from one another. NOTE: This is an ongoing study group, but new participants are always welcome.

The Comic Genius of Peter Sellers (On Campus)

Roosevelt BlvdSchaumburg, IL 60173-4377USA1-224-523-6497Description: Peter Sellers has been variously described by his peers as "the greatest comic genius England has produced since Charles Chaplin,” one of the most glittering comic talents of his age,” and as one who "changed like a chameleon throughout the era, dazzling audiences.” The films starring Sellers as Inspector Jacques Clouseau and directed by Blake Edwards particularly showcased his comedic brilliance. We will view and discuss the five hilarious Pink Panther films, with a surprise bonus Peter Sellers comedy in the final session. Members will be treated to some of the most hysterically funny films ever produced!

All levels of experience and expertise are welcome. Participants will bring their own supplies and materials and will work independently. While class facilitators and participants can offer encouragement, ideas and suggestions to each other, this will NOT be an instructional class.

But they are by no means unique to our time. Join us as we step back in our history to explore the circumstances surrounding several Early American Elections in which all these terms were used, and discover that “We are not alone.”
